Watch: Rightmove shakes up 90s hit for The Voice sponsorship

Property website Rightmove has unveiled a new set of musical idents as part of its recently announced sponsorship of ITV’s ‘The Voice’.

Created by Rightmove’s creative agency Neverland, the idents feature the iconic 90s dance track ‘Moving on Up’ by M People sung in eight different genres.

Each ident pairs a musical genre with a home that matches its style, reflecting the array of styles that feature on The Voice each year.

The shows newest series launches on Saturday 31 August at 8pm on  ITV1, ITV X and STV.

The genres include a soul version of the song being sung in a converted church, a metal version being sung in a modern extension, and a UK garage iteration sung in a home with a garage.

The TV spots are accompanied by a set of out-of-home adverts and the brands new ‘Dunk’ film running across TV and video-on-demand.

Rightmove chief marketing officer Matt Bushby said: “The Voice UK is all about celebrating individuality and talent, which resonates with our commitment at Rightmove to help everyone find a home that fits their unique style.”

“This sponsorship is a key part of the second half of the year marketing campaign, highlighting the unparalleled variety of properties on our platform and inspiring confidence in those looking to make their next move.”

Neverland joint executive creative director Rich McGrann said:  “Sing like you own it. And in this case, with Rightmove there’s a home for everyone so you can”.
