New Mr Vegas mascot brings Sin City to an English cafe

Online casino Mr Vegas has unveiled a flashy new brand mascot to showcase how it can bring a bit of the Las Vegas strip’s glitz and glamour to people’s lives.

Devised by Edinburgh-based creative agency Leith, the campaign will be centred around a 30-second clip that sees the eponymous ‘Mr Vegas’ burst in to an English cafe before ‘Vegasifying’ its unsuspecting customers.

Directed by Leith Studios’ Sye Allen, produced by Amber Hooker and Jennifer Howells, the spot was created Debbie Morgan and Neil MacKinnon, with media planning and buying handled by All Response Media.

“We wanted to bring our brand to life with a character that would capture everyone’s attention,” Videoslot CMO, Marco Trucco said.

“We briefed this idea to Leith and they delivered way more than that. We’re sure the new Mr Vegas ad will bring a moment of extra fun for TV audiences.”

Owned by Malta-based gambling company Videoslots, Mr Vegas enables customers to take part in a range on online slot machine games from the comfort of their own homes.

Leith ECD, Ed Brooke added: “With a name and brand like Mr Vegas, we couldn’t wait to bring him to life, and we think that audiences will love our jazzy, joyous representation of the home of bright lights and magical experiences.

“There may be many websites and apps with Vegas in the title, but we’re sure you’ll remember there’s only one Mr Vegas… uhh!”
