McCann creative director leaves for Bristol-based agency
Bristol-based agency saint nicks has snapped up McCann Bristol creative director Marcus Culloty.
With more than 17 years experience working for some of the UK and Ireland’s leading network and independent agencies including Havas, Publicis and the Leith agency Culloty brings experience working on campaigns for the likes of O2, Toyota, Jameson and Dunlop.
Jellyfish VP exits for indie agency
Jellyfish vice president Mike Hall has exited to take on the role of head of retention at independent agency Medialabs.
Hall told Campaign magazine there was “huge untapped opportunity” for the brand to maximise the ROI of its customer base”.
“I’m eager to develop innovative retention strategies that unlock this potential and drive measurable, long-term value for our clients,” he added.
LADBible snaps up Vice marketing VP
LADBible poaches Vice Media Group’s former integrated vice president Mike Walsh to be its newest director of marketing, effective immediately.
In his new role Walsh will lead the development of both B2C and B2B marketing strategies in order to help support LaDbible Group’s continued global expansion and vision to become a global entertainment business for young adults.
He will report to LADBible chief operating officer Ben Elshaw.

Rapp shores up top team
Rapp has promoted Sam Kennedy to executive vice president, client leadership and Jessica Vo to executive vice president, global marketing orchestration.
Kennedy will lead and grow the Mercedes Benz team, having previously worked as managing director at McCann Enterprise and chief operating officer at Evidently. Meanwhile, Vo’s newly-created role will see her being responsible for scaling the marketing orchestration department globally.
Spark Foundry appoints new chief strategy officer
Publicis-owned Spark Foundry has appointed Venya Wijegoonewardene as its newest chief strategy officer.
Reporting directly to the business’s UK CEO Emil Bielski, Wijegoonewardene will lead the agency’s strategic proposition and will be responsible for the agency’s new ‘Accelerated Intelligence’ human connections propositions.
She joins from Brainlabs where she was senior vice president of planning, and her career prior to that includes over five years as Carat UK strategy partner.
Kinesso bolsters leadership team
Kinesso has bolstered its leadership team with two key appointments, Campaign magazine reported.
Lauren Ogúndèkó, who was formerly chief digital officer at fellow Mediabrands agency Initiative UK and International and board member at Kinesso UK and Ireland, has been promoted to chief transformation officer.
Sanita Sandhu will also take on an expanded role which adds growth to her remit, making her chief of strategy and growth.
Both will report to Kinesso’s EMEA president Chloe Hawking.
