Kite Factory appoints new head of charity to lead on non-profit clients

The Kite Factory has appointed Nicky Jones as its newest head of charity to lead on planning for its roster of not-for-profit clients.

The Kite Factory, who planned Oxfam’s first major TV campaign in over a decade (which spotlighted 82 years of Oxfam history), has worked with non profits including Crisis, Samaritans, Action For Children and The Stroke Association.

Having previously been broadcast and business director at Opticom Media, Jones has several years experience including a major stint working on Marie Curie’s media and planning across brand and performance.

In her new role, she will be tasked with identifying key strategic requirements and delivering these initiatives to The Kite Factory’s senior teams, ensuring the agency builds on its gold star reputation for service.

“I am thrilled to join The Kite Factory and have the opportunity to work with such a dedicated team and an inspiring roster of not-for-profit clients,” said   Jones.

“The agency’s commitment to delivering impactful and collaborative solutions aligns perfectly with my own values. I look forward to building on the great work already being done and contributing to the success of our clients’ missions,” she added.

The Kite Factory charity managing partner Caroline Dolan added that she was “delighted” to welcome Jones to the team.

“Her extensive experience and proven track record in the charity sector make her the perfect fit to drive our not-for-profit clients’ strategies forward,” she continued.

She added that she was confident that the organisation could “continue to deliver exceptional results and further strengthen our relationships with these vital organisations”.
